The Gerald Paist Distinguished Service Award recognizes individuals and organizations who have provided extraordinary service to Career Technical Education and NCLA. The recipient has made a significant and lasting impact on the field of Career Technical Education through their professional accomplishments and by having served in this profession for an extended period. They have also earned the respect and admiration of their colleagues.

In order to be considered, all nominations must be submitted online to Rachael Mann, Executive Director of NCLA-Synergizing CTE Administrators Nationwide info@ncla-cte.org by July 31, 2025.

Supporting the growth and development of Career and Technical Education administrators through financial assistance and leadership training. The Dave Berryman Leadership Development Scholarship is awarded annually to two administrators in career and technical education. The scholarship is designed to assist individuals in attending the NCLA/ACTE Best Practices Conference. Scholarship recipients are provided with a complimentary registration to the conference and a $750 travel stipend. Selection of recipients is based upon a nominee’s involvement in career and technical education, community and civic involvement, and a philosophy of career and technical education.

The nominee must be a first-time attendee. Nominees must complete the application and submit it by July 15th, 2025.
